is a proactive public policy research organization founded upon the social, economic and political concepts put forth in the book, Black Labor, White Wealth: A Search for Power and Economic Justice by Dr. Claud Anderson.


Founded in 1993, the Harvest Institute's purpose is to advocate and provide academic research. Its primary goals are to:

Design and promote a national plan, with prescriptive solutions to bring about economic and political self-sufficiency and competitiveness.

Link knowledge to power by bringing together scholars, strategies and researchers.

Establish an electronic information network within Black America.

Develop public policies and programs to aggregate capital and stimulate vertically integrated black owned businesses and industrial development in black neighborhoods.

Promote accountability, unity and optimism.

Establish new forms of institutional leadership
