The Harvest Institute

is a non-profit, tax exempt research educational, policy and advocacy organization located in Washington, D.C. and founded in 1993.

Mission: To engage in activities that lead to a Black America that is self-sufficient and competitive as a group within the next decade.

All activities of the The Harvest Institute:

Are based upon the books, Black Labor, White Wealth: A Search for Power and Economic Justice and PowerNomics: The National Plan to Empower Black America by Dr. Claud Anderson, founder of the Institute.

Are dedicated to implementing as much of the PowerNomics National Plan as possible.

Encourage others to use the principles of PowerNomics as a guide to their activities so that, even though individuals or groups may be operating separately, their work contributes to achieving the PowerNomics vision of a Black America that is self-sufficient and competitive.

Are based upon the PowerNomics principle that Blacks must aggregate, pool their resources, and build independent communities before allying with competing groups.
